Written into the M.B.A voucher policy, version 4.2, effective 01 January 2026.

| Validity | Six months from the purchase date. The expiry date is printed on the card and in every WhatsApp message. You get one free 30-day extension if you ask the desk before it lapses. |
| Partial redemption | Allowed. A ₦20,000 voucher can cover a ₦7,500 cut today and the balance stays on the same code for the rest of its life — no new code needed. |
| Refunds | Unused vouchers are fully refundable within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, a refund is issued to the original payment method minus a ₦500 processing charge. Partly used vouchers refund the remaining balance only. |
| Where it is redeemable | Any of the 642 shops displaying the M.B.A voucher sticker, across 36 states and the FCT — not just the barber named in your message. |
| Transferable | Yes. The code is bearer-style: whoever holds it can redeem. No name lock, no ID check at the chair. |
| Cash value | Not redeemable for cash at the shop. Cash refunds go back to the buyer's payment method, never to the receiver. |
| Expired or lost codes | Report it on 0803 000 1234 or from your dashboard. We can reissue the code, freeze it against fraud, or refund the unused balance. |

Yes — put their name in the personal message and we will flag it as preferred. Redemption still stays open across the whole network for the full six months, because the shop may be closed, relocated or fully booked on the day.
The receiver simply pays the difference in cash, transfer or card at the chair. If the cut costs less, the balance stays on the code — a ₦20,000 voucher can cover a fade today and a beard line-up next month.
Redemptions are batched into a Friday payout run that lands before 16:00 WAT in the barber's registered bank account. Anything redeemed on a Friday evening rolls into the following week. Every payout carries a reference the barber can match against the dashboard.
Card payments are processed by Paystack and Flutterwave; M.B.A never stores your card number or CVV. Bank transfers go to a unique one-time virtual account that expires after 30 minutes, and WhatsApp payments are authorised inside your own wallet app.
Yes. Pick a delivery date at step 2 and we hold the message until 08:00 WAT on that morning. The six-month validity clock starts on the delivery date, not the purchase date, so a gift bought in September for a December birthday still runs to June.
