Accept online depositsMembers can pay their money box contribution by card or bank transfer.
Payments
Live modeSafe to expose. Used by the checkout form.
Server-side only. Never returned to the browser.
Signature verification is enforced. Failed events retry 5 times with backoff.
Verify webhook signaturesReject any event whose HMAC signature does not match. Should not be disabled.
Enforce idempotency on captureBlocks duplicate orders and voucher credits from replayed webhooks.

Danger zone
Maintenance modeShows a holding page to visitors. Staff and admins can still sign in. Customers mid-checkout are not interrupted.
New registrationsAllow new customer accounts and membership applications to be created.
Refund all outstanding vouchersEmergency action. Cancels every unredeemed voucher and queues refunds to all purchasers. Requires a typed confirmation.
Purge audit logsDeletes logs older than the retention window. Financial records are never deleted.

Every unredeemed voucher is cancelled, refunds are queued to all purchasers, and no voucher issued in the next 24 hours will be honoured. Barbers with pending settlements on these vouchers are affected.
